Frequently Asked Questions
Access your account by clicking “Login” in the upper right of the webpage. Sign in with the email and password you created when you enrolled. Under your account, click “My Courses.” Each course page contains all links, recordings, and other class materials. See the video below for help:
The Zoom links for our live classes are found on each course page. You need to sign into the site to access this (see Question #1).
Yes. The certification tests are available to you whether you attend a live Zoom class or watch the recording.
No. All ages are welcome.
We do allow re-takes on our course exams.
For Wilderness First Aid, Basic Wilderness Survival, and Solo Travel for Women, you will have access to all course content for 30 days beyond purchase. For Wilderness First Responder, you will have access to all course content for 90 days beyond purchase. The supplemental textbooks and podcasts for these courses can be downloaded separately and accessed indefinitely.
Occasionally, we get emails from participants that they can’t get the recording of a course to play on their laptop or cellphone. This is usually resolves if they check it on a few different web browsers or switch devices. If you have tried this and are still struggling to get it to work, reach out to us.
Refund Policy for Courses
We will refund your course at any time, for any reason within 14 days of your purchase, on the condition that you have not accessed any recorded lectures, Zoom classes, textbook and/or podcasts.
If you accidentally enrolled in the wrong course or simply wish to switch to a different course, we’re happy to exchange your course, on the condition that you have not already accessed any recorded lectures, Zoom classes, textbook and/or podcasts.
No partial refunds are available.
To Request A Refund
To request a refund, please use the Contact Form above and provide your receipt number from the top of your purchase confirmation email.
We’ll confirm your refund via email. A credit will automatically be applied to your original payment method within 15 business days.
If your purchase is not eligible for refund, we’ll notify you via email.
If you don’t see your refund on your bank statement or credit card statement, please check your bank account or contact your credit card company as it may take them several weeks to post your refund credit.
After that, if you still haven’t received your refund, please let us know via the Contact Form above for further assistance.
Refunds are not available for gift cards.
